Supported Employment Newfoundland and Labrador

Unveils 2nd Phase of their Provincial Promotional Campaign

Supported Employment Newfoundland and Labrador, the Provincial Networking Organization for Supported Employment is days away from launching the second phase of their Provincial Promotional Campaign with the main event being held in Gander on Thursday, September 19th at Hotel Gander.

At this exciting event, they will launch their Newsletter "The Insider" along with the details of their upcoming Radio Campaign on Stations of the VOCM Radio Network.. Building on the success of last year's initial launch of the Promotional Campaign and the recent National Conference on Supported Employment both held in St. John's, members of SENL feel it is essential to continue to build on this momentum and continue to further promote the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in the workforce of Newfoundland and Labrador. Sean Wiltshire of Avalon Employment adds "we have a world class program that needs to be highlighted. Individuals with developmental disabilities across Newfoundland and Labrador are being included in the workforce; are paying taxes and are more independent."

Supported Employment Newfoundland and Labrador promotes workplace inclusion for individuals with developmental disabilities through supported employment to eliminate the barriers that prevent the full participation of these individuals.
